Connie was born on November 20, 2000 & she lives in Streetly, in the West Midlands of Britain. Connie is best known as the gap toothed 6 year old who stole the nations heart when she stepped out on stage and sang solo in front of the judges of 'Britains Got Talent’. She has been singing since she was 18 months old. The song she is most known for, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”, was the song she performed at her grandmother’s funeral at three years old.
She initially wanted to enter Britain's Got Talent so that she could sing in front of Simon Cowell and make people happy too. After seeing Simon Cowell in Africa on American Idol she decided that if she was to win she would like to donate all the money to the kids in Africa. She managed to achieve two of those wishes after touching the heart of Simon Cowell and the nation as a whole.
Connie never had singing lessons of any kind, so you can truly say that she has a 100% natural God given talent. Her voice has so many different ranges & she can sing with perfect pitch and is cute at the same time. At this point in time she is already being told she’s going to be the next Charlotte Church.
After taking second on “Britain’s Got Talent”, Connie signed a record deal to release records on the special label “Rainbow Recordings” and recorded her debut album `Over The Rainbow’ which has since earned her a Gold Disc in the UK and has been a huge hit across S.E.Asia becoming the top selling international new artist CD in much of S.E.Asia in 2008. Just to round-off the year in style Connie released her Christmas Album to the delight of her fans, particularly in Asia, where it has again been in the Top 10 CD charts.

9th June 2007 – talent show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ premieres on ITV.
17th June 2007 – Connie performs at the grand final of ‘Britain’s Got Talent,’ only coming second to classically trained opera singer, Paul Potts. 14 million UK viewers tuned in.
16th Nov 2007 Connie Talbot online store goes live with pre-orders of the album and limited edition signed copies.
16th Nov 2007 Connie performed at Children of Need.
18th Nov 2007 Connie switches on the Christmas Lights in Lancaster.
22nd Nov 2007 Connie performs a song from her forthcoming album and switches on the Christmas lights in her local city of Walsall. Broadcasted on ITV Central news.
24th Nov 2007 Connie switches on the Christmas lights in Halifax.
26th Nov 2007 Connie releases her first album ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow.’

Connie goes back into the studio to record three new songs for the new version of her album ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’.
Mar 2008 Connie travels with her family to Jamaica and makes her first full music video
20th April – 3 May 2008 Connie visits South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong for promo tour
‘Over The Rainbow’ Album – revised version ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow.’
Three news songs have been added to the new version, 'Three Little Birds', ‘Any Dream will do', and 'You Raise Me Up.'
The album re-launch is scheduled for April 25th.
