Eldissa

The recording project of Eldissa was initiated by famous Brazilian Guitarist Ecio Parreira and BlueFish’s Producer Rio who spent almost two years to pick the right songs, the right tempo and chords as well as the best approach to re-arrange the biggest disco hits into Bossa Nova style. Undoubtedly they needed the right singers, too. De L’Amour and Marci, both London-based vocalists with caribbean roots and Chloé coming from New York, were chosen among 120 different candidates. Their beautiful crystal clear and fresh voices give a smooth and sophisticated flavour with a brilliant sunny taste to the Bossa Nova music. It wasn’t easy but worth trying as the result is so suprisingly natural that we wonder how come nobody ever thought about it before!
