KATIE MELUA MARRIES SUPERBIKE CHAMPION JAMES TOSELAND

Singer Katie Melua and former World Superbike Champion James Toseland married on Saturday September 1st 2012 in the historic Nash Conservatory at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, West London, UK.

Guests included fellow musician (and head bridesmaid) Polly Scattergood, Mike Batt, William Orbit, Toby Jepson, Prince Pieter-Christiaan Michiel of The Netherlands, Sacha Abercorn (Duchess of Abercorn), English National Ballet Senior Principal Elena Glurdjidze, and  friends of James from the world of motorsport including Roger Burnett and  Sylvain Barrier.

Katie wore an off white, embroidered and beaded dress by couture bridal designer Claire Pettibone. 

At the evening reception Mike Batt performed a song specially written for the couple and a DJ set by William Orbit rounded off the night.
