“Bold As Brass” finds Cliff Richard recording a complete album of standards with an American swing orchestra for the first time in his long career. And now, in celebration of his 70th birthday, Cliff is staging a one-off series of concerts at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall, based on the “Bold As Brass” album and featuring a full swing orchestra, backing singers and some
of the Nashville musicians who performed on the album, under the baton of Michael Omartian, the album’s producer. The set list includes many of the tracks from the album, and a selection of Cliff’s hits performed in a swing style.
